Boswellness specializes in the production of high quality certified organic frankincense and myrrh essential oils and extracts. Our distillers have a combined 40 years of experience working exclusively with these botanicals, resulting in truly exceptional products!
The major constituent compounds in our certified organic Boswellia carteri essential oil are α-Pinene, myrcene, limonene, α-Phellandrene and para-Cymene. The scent is sweet with a hint of citrus in the beginning, then develops into a resinous and spicy aroma. Our certified organic Boswellia frereana's dominant components are α-Pinene, α-Thujene, Sabinene, para-Cymene, and Terpinen-4-ol. The scent is camphorous at first, then develops an earthy and musky aroma with notes of citrus.
Both of our Frankincense and Myrrh essential oils are hydro-distilled from the resins of the Boswellia and Commiphora trees respectively. In hydro-distillation, the plant material co-mingles with water and the essential oil is coaxed out of the resin as it gently boils. This method produces a true essential oil of the highest olfactory quality.
We are accustomed to providing a wide range of documentation for our essential oils upon request. Some common examples include an SDS, allergen statement, organic certificate, or COA.
We provide lot-specific GC-MS reports with your purchase of our essential oils. Testing is performed by a 3rd party independent laboratory. If you would like to conduct your own testing, you may request a complementary sample (shipping charges may apply).
Boswellness offers both domestic and international shipping via small package or freight. We provide necessary import documents, as well as Dangerous Goods declarations (when required) to make clearance as easy as possible. We offer multiple shipping carriers to meet your preference.
Our wholesale prices are tiered by quantity. Please note that pricing is subject to change with fluctuating market conditions. Freight is not included in the provided wholesale price.
Full payment is due prior to shipment. We accept major credit cards for orders below $2500 USD or electronic fund transfers (EFTs) up to and beyond that. For higher card payment amounts, a 3% service fee will be added.
